Richard and Kelly Price have been licensed to care for adults with special needs in their home since 1992. Over the years, they have cared for 10 individuals.
They currently care for five adults who have been living in the home for over 30 years and were raised alongside the family’s biological children. This fostered deep bonds of love, respect, and inclusion and created a loving home were everyone feels like family. Richard and Kelly affectionately refer to the adult members as “the big kids.”
As the Price children have grown, they have continued the tradition. The adult children, close friends, and extended family now playing an active role in caregiving. Richard and Kelly are the heart of this incredible household. They are known for their kindness, patience, and unwavering dedication. Their home is filled with laughter, support, and a sense of belonging, making it a truly special place for all who are privileged to be a part of it.
When speaking of their long-term members living in the home, Kelly stated, “They are pretty cool people. We love ‘em.” What a great example of the type of families we need to step up and foster both children and adults. Many thanks to Richard and Kelly Price.
